After a 17-year break, I started playing saxophone again after a business trip responding to Hurricane Maria’s aftermath. Music helped me reconcile the conflicting emotions I felt after experiencing such devastation first hand. And while playing solo is fulfilling, being in SFLGFB really made a positive difference in my life. The diversity of our membership, united by a shared passion for music, demonstrates the best qualities in each of us. This is why I’m proud to be a part of SFLGFB.
Outside of band, I’m married to my husband, Mark, whom you can see in our flag corps! We are pet parents to an adopted dog and cat, and make our home in San Francisco. In our free time you’re most likely to find us wine tasting in Sonoma.
