The Band caught my eye when I was first transferred to San Francisco in the early 1990s and I enjoyed following it during those years. Upon my return, I decided to volunteer to firm up my attraction to the Band, and have served as its treasurer for the past four years.
I presently serve as a consultant for the International Monetary Fund, Washington, DC, advising central banks in emerging market countries on central bank processes and financial sector supervisory issues. I have worked in diverse countries in Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia. At present I have active projects in Sub-Sahara Africa.
